Mr and Mrs B

The Brief

Mr and Mrs B, a professional couple from Aslockton, Nottinghamshire wanted their new kitchen to have a timeless aesthetic that would be sympathetic to their property’s character but deliver everything they needed for modern living.

The Project

They opted for a smart monochrome colour palette, a chic blend of charcoal and alabaster in the Broadoak Shaker range. Generous storage was a key priority of the brief and as well as a luxury look on the outside, the luxury continues behind the doors with a clever pull-out larder, dovetailed drawer boxes and integral oak cutlery trays.  The butler’s pantry also creates further storage capacity, and flanked with wine racks adds a bespoke feel to the design.

The clients wanted a seating area so as well as being very practical the kitchen could be a social hub too. We created an overhang on the island where the stools neatly and comfortably sit underneath. The cream stools enhance the alabaster painted cabinetry, with the their shape also subtly echoing the gentle curves of the island, bringing an element of softness to the scheme.
