Mr and Mrs C

The Brief

Mr and Mrs C of Bingham, Nottinghamshire were looking to achieve a light, airy feel to their new kitchen which would be a sociable space with generous storage. They opted for a muted palette and classic style.

The Project

The Broadoak painted door in alabaster works really well against the Silestone Bamboo Quartz worktop, splash back and upstand in a similar but darker shade. To create ample storage a double larder unit with two deep drawers, Butler’s pantry door racks, shelving and internal bottle rack were chosen and add a real bespoke feeling to the design.

The chosen appliances were predominantly Siemens, HB13MB651B stainless steel double oven and EH651BN17E induction hob with 2 rings and a flex-induction zone whilst the futuristic looking extractor fan is the Elica Verve 55 hood.

Cool extra features include a custom designed overhang on one side of the ‘L’ shaped corner unit where two seats sit neatly and comfortably underneath to form a breakfast bar area and a Smiths Hydronic plinth heater which runs off the central heating system.

The all important extras- LED recessed ceiling lights fitted on a dimmer switch, Installation of steel lintel to open up room, relocation of clients existing sink and tap and all necessary plastering to ceiling.
