Kitchen designed and installed for Mr and Mrs P, Whatton, Nottinghamshire NG13

The Brief

Although Mr and Mrs P had what many would consider to be a very nice kitchen, they had ‘inherited’ it when they moved in. A more modern kitchen was desired with enough storage space to place everything away and somewhere to show off their dining wares.

The Project

As with most kitchen installations, we need to rip out the old before installing the new!

Electrical work included new recessed ceiling lights, LED under cabinet lighting, plinth and worktop lighting to create functional and ambient light.

The kitchen was created using handmade units in cashmere and solid Remo handle-less doors in Cashmere gloss and Elm. To create a contrast and feature, the tall oven housings had Elm decor sides and gloss Remo cashmere doors.

To make a lovely space to show off the dining wares, 2 glass cabinets were fitted… Down lights were installed to show off the contents, but with the glass doors, no dusting required!

The feature breakfast bar had the same colour  theme, but with curved doors! All the worktops, upstand, windowsill and splashback were finished with the lovely Brown silk granite.  Drainer grooves were fabricated into the worktop to allow drainage for those delicate iems that don’t make it to the Neff  dishwasher. The other integrated appliances included a Bosch fridge and plinth heater.

Useful clever storage solutions were used to allow access to the usually ‘tight’ spots in a kitchen. You can see the LeMans used in the corner making it easy to access the space.

Finishing touches included the Abode Gosford brushed nickel tap and under mounted sink.

Flow silver floor tiles completed the look, I’m sure you’d agree it looks absolutely fab!
